Michael was taking his three days off that he had promised himself after his last mission and decided that he would continue working on the plans for the new weapon that he had envisioned on the mission before last. How that weapon would have came in handy with that one.
He went into his basement and the lights came on for him to be able to see, After closing the door he moved down the stairs and into the main room of his basement area. He turned and enter the other room just off to the left of the bottom of the stairs and closed that door as well. He went over to the far wall and pulled the drafting board down that was recessed into the wall. One had to love the advances in technology and the abilty to make more space in a room then would have been thought possible in the middle ages.
He pulled his small stool over and took a seat. He had alreay gotten the basic design down and now was working on the inside of the weapon and the bullets. He knew that this weapon would cost him a good deal of credits but would be well worth it in the long run. The main ability of this weapon would not actually be in the gun itself as much as in the ammunition.
After getting the internal workings of the gun itself complete he moved on to the ammunition.. Now how am I going to make this work? think, think, think. Michael reached over and turned on the radio so that he could listen to some relaxing music and get his mind to working better then it was at the moment. When he was working on his inventions he would usually go days on end without eating and would sometimes forget to sleep but, this time he was lucky, It had only taken him 6 hours to get the basics completed.
The Vid-phone started alerting him to an incomming message and he went into the main basement room to take the call. he reached over and pushed the answer button on the base of the monitor and an image took the place of the dark screen that had been there a moment before. The image that replaced the dark monitor was that of a red Dragon clutching a rifle in on claw and a sword in the other with the two crossed at the middle, Its wings were spread out to the sides, and it's head turned to the right with a flash of fire shooting forth.
After several minutes of conversation Michael reached down and pressed the Answer button once again to end the call. Hmmmm, this could be a good mission, rather easy and close to home so to speak. It would be worth the effort and the 900 credits that was being offered as payment. A simple assassination job and no body guard. Should be able to do the job and get back home in time for lunch.
Michael returned to the plans for his new weapon and continued his work. The weapon would have 4 barrels and would be loaded with 4 special rounds that used a micro radar and target lock chip assembly in the head of each round. The weapon will fire a round when the trigger is pulled then will cycle through to fire the next round when the trigger is pulled a second time, until all rounds have been fired. To save the firing pin the weapon will lock the trigger until the weapon has been opened, reloaded, and closed again. The rounds will Lock onto a target and when fired will follow that target until they make contact either with the target or other solid matter. The heads of the rounds will be coated in teflon giving them more cutting power when it comes to punching through a target's armor.
After completing the plans for the weapon Michael calls the local Aerospace store and checks on the prices of the materials that he will need to construct this weapon and the ammunition. He gets the prices and makes notes then crunches the numbers.. Not too bad of a price but, I will have to make sure that every shot counts and make sure that the jobs are worth the use of even one shot from this baby. I think I will need to keep a normal gun for the missions that just suck though..
Making notes on his home computer .. The Hydra .. Weapon Cost = 650 credits ... Ammo cost each .. 140 credits ... Total cost for fully loaded .. 1,210 credits and 650 credits for a full reload. ..... Yes, this was going to be a rather expensive weapon but, should not be too difficult to keep filled with ammo.. Just have to make sure that the price is a little better then right..
((GK gave a 31 for for the gun invention Diff with 3 rolls allowed and a 60 Diff for the bullets with {5 rolls allowed} ))
((Michael got 56 Total for the Gun invention and 119 for the invention of the Bullets.))
((GK gave an Attack roll Bonus of +6 and a Damage Modifier of +4))
((GK gave a cost of The gun, 650 credits and a cost of 140 credits EACH. To make or construct.))
